yesterday wasn't a good day for my stang. i was driving pretty hard and rolling through the gears ok untill i tried to throw into 4th. it made a terrible grinding sound and then would not go into 3rd or 4th gear enen though the clutch was fully engaged. is this my gears or clutch? the car has always been hard to get it into reverse ever since i got about two months ago. its been a little hard to get it into first lately also and i would grind the gears every now and then trying to get the car into 3rd and 4th before last night. please help!!

Sounds to me like the syncros in your tranny are screwed up. There is a TSB that you can look for in the TSB tabs that says more about it.

OMG OMG OMG...Ok by the look of it, I have those same syptoms...I also have a '99 GT with Flows.

-hard getting into reverse
-lately having trouble going into 1st.
-grinding every now and then into 3rd and 4th (maybe cause I'm learning to drive a manual)

While I don't drive my car hard on the street, I'm I heading down the same road?
