yeah he said at 80 it's right below 3000 so now i'm figuring he's got the 3.55s from saleen and a few other things as well...i know it's got the udp's saleen exhaust system and possibly chipped and tuned as well...it just didn't feel like a stock 01 gt that's all...i've raced a few gt's at the track and was beating one's by half a second or more but the way his car is set up it feels way faster than other regular gt's..by the way i have an 06 gt and i know how to drive it...but me and him are going to line up and see how it's goes but yeah he is the non-supercharged #18 in 2001

3000 rpm at 80? thats got to be alot more than just 3.55, i think 4.10 or 4.30 to be up that high.

udp's, and a tune along with some exhaust work makes for some decent gains on the 2v engines. both udp's and a timing advance - tune - increase torque and hp across the entire rpm band. add to that some free flowing exhaust and intake and it'll make that much more up top.

if he was stock, with stock gearing - even at 3.55, i'd say his car would be a hair slower than your car. but with 4.10+ gears, and assuming he's good at shifting because he's going to run through them pretty quick, i'd say he has the advantage.

He's probably got a 4:10 gear in it based on his rpms at 80. With the other little bolt-ons, I'm sure it FELT really fast. Personally, when I'm in then passenger seat every car seems faster than mine. Just race him and you'll see that your car is just as fast.
