99 Wind Noise

99 Wind Noise
I got my 99 GT about 3 weeks ago now, and after putting about 2000 miles on it, I have decided that the wind noise is pretty annoying. I was doing some searching, and found a document from Canada on a used car buying site that mentioned the 99's had excessive wind and tire noise from the rear (what I have) and that this could be solved by "sealing the rear wheel flanges". What do you guys think about this? All I know is that at 75, I am getting quite a bit of noise that I don't think was there with the '02 that I drove for a week. Then again, that had the Magnaflow catback so the drone might have been covering it up. Also, I am running about 2200 RPM @75, which also seems higher than the '02. The rear tires are very worn, and will be getting replaced with some BFG Traction T/A's to match the fronts within the next couple weeks. Thoughts?
Thanks!

RE: 99 Wind Noise
Never heard of the noise coming from the rear. I know I get wind noise at the seem between the window and the mirror. I haven't tried to fix it yet. i just put the window down a bit and back up. That keeps the noise out until I slow down and speed back up again. But the wind noise isn't very bad.
