Default 1999 GT Intake Cracked

I have one of those Dumb@#$ newbie questions. I have a 1999 GT with a craked intake manifold. I looked at ordering a new Intake off of Summit, but they have two different ones. Now I have read all about the PI motor, but there are two different intake manifolds for the 99 GT, one for a motor with PI heads, and one with out PI heads. My question is this; How do I know what intake I need for my GT and how can I tell if my car has the PI heads? Are the PI heads a standard feture on the 99-04 GT or was it a later add on? Any help would be appreciated! OH, by the way this site is the @#$%!

you have a PI motor.. the 96-98 motors are NON PI motors. .. so when you get an intake, get a PI INTAKE

talk to the dealership. i've heard of folks getting theirs fixed even when their time has passed. if not, just buy one from your local auto parts store for about 180 bucks or so, get a 12 pack, and it's pretty easy to do it yourself

My intake cracked as well on my '99. I ordered the one from Summit along with new gaskets. Make sure that they send you the correct gaskets though. Here is the summit part number for them ( FEL-MS92121-3 ). They had orginally sent me the wrong gaskets and then the correct ones were on back order. I ended up having to wait a month for them to come in. So hopefully they still have some in stock for you.
