He's got a new edge sixer, so why is everybody telling him he's stupid? He's improving his 1/4 mile times by probably 3 seconds right off the bat, and it's a whole lot better base to start modding. I like mustangs a lot more than camaros, but performance is more important to me than looks.

Thank you, the only reason im buying this is becasue the GT's that i want are minum of 12,500. For that extra 2k im saving by buying this camaro she will see 12's.

Hopefully for you, some sucker will come along and not know any better. They don't really add a resale value, but the wheels could certainly attract a young kid who just has to have the car. Some people get lucky and will get more than what the car is worth simply for this reason.

It's not up for debate at all. Modifications, appearance or performance simply do *not* add resale value. Unless the car is fully rebuilt, engine, transmission, rear-end & set up for some sort of racing wether it be strip/road course, (where someone wants to buy a complete project and save THOUSANDS) it absolutely does not add value. Everyone else will attest to this also.

If anything, modifications decrease the value.
Yeah this is what im goin for, beacuse compared to an other 99 v6 this one looks way better beacuse of the wheels.

Well i went back to the dealer for an "extended test drive" which was not accompined by any salesmen, and all i can say was WOW. This bitch is fast. And when i opend her up on rt 59, she screamed down the 2 lane highway.

We talked numbers somewhat and they offered be 5500 to 6 for my car and i talked them down to 9250 for the camaro. Now im shure i can get them to bump up the resale value of mine to 6500 at least but the 2750 is the problem, i would rather not deplete most of my savings should i work on some kind of financing as opposed to just paying cash on the spot.

I have bought 2 cars from private parties in my life (just turned 18) and i would really rather not buy from a dealer but i dont think i can pass up this nice *** camaro for that price.

Use your mustang money as the down payment, then finance the remaining money for a 2 year loan or something. Enjoy the camaro, did you test drive any gts??

Well have i test drove any GT's? At dealerships no. But 4 of my closest friends have 99 to 04 GT's and i have driven most of them. My favorite is the yellow n/a 12.7 @ 108 monster.

I think its gonna be great when i pull up and they see what i have purchased. And then they all start talkin trash, and i go u wanna race? All of them will say yeah and proceeded to have the a$$ handed to them except for the yellow beast. Cuz he can take 03/04 cobras.
