Default Exhaust Manifold Stud Installation

How difficult is it to install new studs? I am going to replace my driver side studs in order to fix an exhaust leak with my MAC Prochamber. Is there a special too to remove studs?

its not easy and i decided to put them on with my lts. the stock studs have a little hex on the end of them so no you dont need a special tool.. i also loosened my engine mount and raised the side i was working on about 2 3 inches it gives you a hell of alot more room just a tip...

i broke one of my studs, i just drilled it out and got grade 8 bolts and tighten away, it was not that hard...but then i only had to replace one bolt, i dont know if you talking about the stud in the block or the stud in the end mouth, mine was in the end piece
