LOL, this was one of my first posts I've made on this site! I have no idea where/how you found it, but thanks anyway

I guess I can update on how it went now. Those two nuts work just fine on the Steeda cable. I have since replaced my clutch and put around 20,000 miles on the cable itself. I am pretty sure it has never lossend up on me. So if anyone else has this question, those nuts work just fine; as Stanos has said.
