Default Progressive Rate vs Specific Rate?

Whats the difference between those..? I'd like to lower my 03. How much lower can I go without having to use caster/camber plates and such?

Progressive springs start out at a certain height, and over time they adjust themselves depending on the conditions in which they are experiencing on your car. Specific rate springs start out at a certain rate and remain the same, dont get any lower.

i belive that progressive rate springs go from soft to hard that way it'll start out softer for road bumps and then get stiffer the more the travel making it better for daily driving.

progressive rate means just that, its progressive, the first inch or so requires less pressure to compress than the rest of the spring. this makes it so that under normal driving it is a more comfortable ride, but when you get on it hard in turns it stays stiff giving you the best balance between performance and comfort
