You guys think that LM 1's are louder than 40 flows?

Ive seen videos of them and Ive been considering the switch - Id really like to trade someone - but I want to make sure they are louder and sound good - but I WANT TO BE LOUDER!!!!!!!!!!!

I was considering just straight pipes w/o an H or an X or mufflers - what do you all think about that?
Yes the LM1's are louder than 40 series flows IMO.

I'm trying to get a sticky on this thread so everyone thats new can come in and take a listen to all these clips... might help on the traffic that everyone talks about asking for exhaust questions.

In your price range you could probably get a O/R midpipe + a catback. I love my catted X + flowmaster catback.

My advice on exhaust is to go to the track and listen to the setups people have. You kinda missed that season though, thats how i determined my catback. If you want loud as hell make lil kids cry, then you want SLP LMI with an O/R H. If you want a good loud and deep sound go with SLP LMII or flowmaster 40 series with an O/R H. it just depends on ur taste like everyone said.

ok I dont know what offroad and h pipe are same pieces right its either one or the other?

OR=Off road, off road means it does not have any cats on it. H pipe is the design of the pipe. Its either H pipe or an X pipe.

does anyone think this is a legit setup for a set of 40's?

price just seems so low.

Absolutely no question, LM1's are much louder than 40 flows.

I think it's legit. I've been watching flows on ebay for the past couple of months, and that seems to be the best deal out there. Let us know if you get them - I'm about a month away from pulling the trigger myself (well, the flows and a catted x).

i would go with the pro-chamber mid pipe. it may be a little be a little extra cash but you wont regret it. i think that and some flows sounds really good. i have that on my car and it sounds like a champ.
