I know what your talking about. Theres actually a place near my house that does that. I'm not sure if you guys have auto supermarkets in illnois but we've them here in pittsburgh and they carry it. Good luck.

It won`t protect like rustproofing is supposed to. It`s alot thicker than clearcoat. Almost like a gel.

Are you talking about zebar or however it was called?
I don't think its around anymore. My tbird had it on it, and it still did not prevent the car from rusting the fenders.
