$400-600 just for the rack? No way dude. I just had mine replaced because it would pop when I turned it, and it leaked. I got if for $85 at a LKQ Junkyard (they're all over the place) with a 1 year warranty and the labor costed me $200. Its smooth and straight now. Just don't forget to have the shop align it after installing the new rack.

Did yours Pop every time you turned? My suspension pops also but only when I back up and hit a bump or turn it to the right while backing up. I haven't had a chance to look at it but I figured it was the rack.

Well, it made a popping noise when I turned the wheel all the way to the right, but not really any other times. Although it did make some clanking noises when I went over bumps. All that is fixed now.
