blower belt
hey guys, i have a question. i have a 04 cobra kb2.2 motoblue lower pulley (6lb) and i cant get the belt not to slip. any ideas? thanx.

What belt are you using? Have you tried the gates or gatorback belts...they are alittle stickier but more money.

i have tried them all. it runs at 18psi then the belt squeaks and boost drops. i have a rr tensioner and 100mm idlers.

18??? runnin like that, either try more ribs, or just go to a cog drive (that'll solve any boost slip problem, at a price)...i dont think the stock 6 rib would be much good after about 14

im pretty sure the number of ribs are 8 from the factory

factory is 6 rib...after 15psi most guys swap to the 8 rib pulley set up for the reason you are having now.
