I have come to conclude that our cars have loads of problems in the heat and in the humidity...and these could be contributing to your problems. Gonna have to get it dynoed

I drive my car everyday in 100 degree weather and it runs BETTER than a champ! It doesnt get ET times that I would like in the quarter but weather does have slight affects.

RE: This is driving me crazy!!!!
The car is still stock, only modification was a home made CAI that I removed to see what happened. After I removed it, I replaced the stock air box with a K&N and the problem is still there but less pronounced. Other than that i replaced the stock cats with two magnaflow high flow cats, which did not eliminate the problem either. I'm using 87 octane fuel from Texaco or any other major brand of gasoline (Shell, etc.).

RE: This is driving me crazy!!!!
Mine has been doing that for years now. I've tried everything I could think of, and nobody has any ideas about it. The only thing I found is that I had 87 in it one day, and decided to go to the track. I still had 1/2 a tank of gas, and I filled it the rest of the way with 100 to even it out some. For the rest of the time, it didn't have any problems. Try throwing a few gallons of 100 octane in it, and see how it responds.
