Our cars dont have plug wires....
Unless he's got a Post 99 4.6, then he probably does have plug wires...

Normally, if a coil pack is dead, or is intermittent, it'll throw a code for that. ECU's, tend to just die. Sometimes it's internals can hold it together to kick a code out, but if it dies, I'm sorry.. This is more interesting, since our engines detect Misfiring fairly well..

Also, if you've got spark plugs, you can test for spark.. No need to rehash how to do that, it's on this site..

It could very well be the speaker wire. I was checking a wire on my amp one day, and the wire came loose. The guy that was helping me out was this radioshack wizard dude. He told me if at anytime, any one of those wires come loose and ground, it could surge your ECU. Sending too much power through the ground wire of the ECU and the power going into it from the battery, can cause the major surge and fry it. You probably have to replace every electrical engine component. I'd check all the components first, but it seems to be fried. Sorry to hear it bro. Now I'm gunna go check my wires, lol.

I checked each of the fuses including the bus fuses in the engine compartment just for the sake of finding out a solution and I have yet to come up with an answer. Looks like I'll head to the junkyard tomorrow and get another ECU and see if that works out. I'll keep y'all posted if i find anything.

Well guys thanks for the info. I was finally able to figure out what happen to the Mustang. Apparently the #3 coil on my MSD igntion coil died and caused a short in the igntion system therefore causing the fuse of the EEC to blow out. Thank God that the fix to the car is as simple as I found it to be.

I found that it was the #3 coil by connecting the OBDII scanner tool to the OBDII port on the car, and pulling out the trouble codes. P0353 was the error that I found, so that's the fix.
