its about 3000 for a TKO swap because you have to get new trann mounts and weld them up yuour self and you need a different length driveshaft.

In about a year this car is going from a DD to a project car... i'm not spending the money right now on the TKO whenever its eventually going to need something stronger. The TKO would be nice, but I could only probably get like $500 for the 3650 and like 300 for the T45 if that. And is not worth it to me for only a year to spend the extra money.

Plus i already have a 3650. I just wnat something that will be fairly decent for the next year or so.

D3mon... no troubles at all?? Anything else other than the reverse wire I should be aware of? Are the flywheels the same size between a 00 and 01?
nope no troubles, the same flywheel will fit, the reverse wires are the only thing other than that is a straight swap, that is the only thing, of course since the tranny is aout you should get the flywheel resurfaced, or get a new one, i got a new billet steel flywheel and a new centerforce clutch and is awesome.

The TKO is the way to go but you need to but bellhousing and some other stuff and it gets expensive, if i had the money i would've gotten a t56 but as the tko tooooo expensive.

Yeah... i put a king cobra in my car last november hoping to help my tranny problems... it didnt. My friend gave me his 3650 when he threw a viperspec t56 in his... so you cant beat free.

I'm thinking of just pulling the engine and tranny to do it. Not sure I want to take those long tubes off again.

Nope and nope.

The mount requires a SLIGHT change (cut out a piece) and the driveshaft is the same.
