Im looking into getting a Vortech and I was just going to get a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump. Im not sure how much it increases flow tho.

The SVT focus pump is a direct drop in to your stock fuel pump housing and works great.

There is also the "boost-a-pump" from Kenne Bell. I ran that on my S/C GT and never had any problems in the fuel delivery department.

Other than the hassle of getting the tank down and installing the fuel pump I don't see any reason not to just get a new one. Frankly, getting the tank down wasn't that bad either, just a bit time consuming.

I don't see any reason to overvoltage your stock pump when you can just get a factory reliable pump like the SVT one and run it on the factory designed rating.

It's not all that bad of a job changing out the fuel pump, I agree.

The KB B.A.P. only "overvoltage's" the factory pump under boost.

I'm just saying, it worked fine for me.

I have been looking into it for future upgrades, as a single SVT pump won't keep up with a forged assembly and bigger injectors, but it just seems like your fuel pump is the last thing you want to strain in a FI car.

I know plenty of people have used them with no problems, but I just don't think I trust em.

I have a 99 GT and all I see are fuel pumps for sale for combras and 95-97 GT's. Would this fuel pump work for my 99 GT?
