Cutting springs while works a lot, can be dangerous... I've seen more then a few that are ok with the cut springs, also that have snapped things, like axles. Not sure how that works, but it's just what i've seen, lol.

Well you have to know what you are doing .. you just can't go whacking coils off and slapping them back in .. personally I know of 10 people that I am directly connected to that have cut springs and none of them has had a problem ...

I've also heard that, if you can do it right, cutting stock springs maintains the factory ride quality yet also lowers the car
