starter bolts

Default starter bolts

how the hell do i get to the top bolt of the starter!?![:@]

I have my H-Pipe off and the suspension is at full droop...

The easiest way I have found to do it is. Take passenger front tire off get a couple really long extensions and a swivel snake the extensions through a hole in the k-member that is right in front of that stupid top bolt. You will also want a light but once you shine the light in through the wheel well you should see the top bolt and be able to get the socket on the nut.

Do NOT leave the top bolt off. My buddy was lazy and did that and I had to retap the bottom bolt hole because the bolt cavitated.

ok well i got it off before i came back to read this. i was able to just get a socket with an extension up there and get it off, and i was able to get it back on the same way. so all three bolts are in, i have a new starter, and the car finally starts. thanks guys
