Default Another CA smog question....

This is for all the people in CA that have catted X pipes. Were you able to pass the sniffer test? I am not too concerned about passing the visual (most of the places around here just check to look for Cats. They see em, that part passes.) I would really like to get a catted X, but I am worried about passing Smog with only one cat on each side instead of three. Just want to see what others have experienced with a catted X.

When you went in for your test, did the guy check under your car for the cats? What kind of numbers turned up on the Smog test? Was it pretty close to the fail level set for CA? Sorry about all the questions, but I would like to not have to hold onto an old setup to change out every few years.
