Default Air/Fuel gauge install questions

I don't want to hear the "its worthless unless it's wideband" comments on this one. I got a really good deal on a Autometer Lunar Series A/F gauge, but there's no directions with it. Everything I've searched for has talked about 3 wires, but this one has 4. Black, White, Red, and Purple. I know the Black is ground, Red prob goes to 12V, but where do the Purple and White wires go? I did a search in this forum and in the AV/Electronics and found nothing worthwhile. So if you have hooked one of these up, can you tell me where the purple/white wires go, thanks!

RED - 12v ignition source
White - Dash lighting source
Black - Ground
Purple - Signal wire for the o2 sensor. I'll have to pull my Haynes Manual out to figure out the correct wire.

just a suggestion, but i would get an Autometer dimmer switch to, because i put NV Autometer gauges in mine and they were extremely bright and this solved the problem. But i dont know how bright your gauges will be, a buddy of mine installed my gauges so ill see if he can tell me how he hooked them up for me to tell u

Yea I was thinking about that, just not sure where i'd mount that autometer dimmer box at. Looking at the pic, it looks pretty big.

LOL, no the one i got wasnt big at all. It was about the size of a match box, maybe a little bigger. I mounted mine under the right side of the driver side dash. I used some black zip ties and hooked it on a secure spot were it could be easly reached, but could not be seen unless u were on all fours lookin for it.

This is the one i have. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
