Default MIL Eliminator Help!

I got my exhaust installed, and my MIL's aren't working. CEL is on, so should I buy other MILs?

What kind of MIL's did you buy? My check engine light came on a couple times after I put my MIL's on. I just cleared the codes and eventually they stayed off. I wouldn't buy another set of MIL's. Just clear the codes for now, see if they keep coming back, then buy a tuner if your MIL's clearly don't work.

If you JUST put them on, give them a few days for the computer to recognize them... If you wait and it they still don't work, its basically hit or miss with MILs. I had BBK MILs and they didn't work, but I recently just got a tuner, which will solve my problem. Unfortunately, a tuner is the expensive way, but I will need to tuner for other things soon also such as upgrading the wheels and tires to fix the speedo, etc.

Part of the problem with MILs is that most people don't take the time to properly install them either. You have to disconnect the battery, and some other stuff. I forget off the top of my head, but the installtion instructions should come with the MILs.
