Its kinda pointless. You could change to 3v and with all that work you could have just changed to 4v for a few more $'s. 4v>3v>2v. And its only 40hp. 05 GT 300hp 00GT 260hp. It would be cool if you could get the 3v setup for dirt cheap, but you cant.

yea it would be, but for the same trouble, wouldnt 60 be nice? And 4v responds better to mods. But yeah it would be really nice either way.

Honestly, at that point of mods, it might just make more sense to sell your GT and buy yourself a cobra, would probably be cheaper for you and a hell of a lot less work to get it right.

It's actually not that expensive to swap to 3V heads. It's easier and cheaper than doing the 4V heads. With the 3V you basically need the heads, intake, and a cobra throttle body. You might as well upgrade cams if you have the heads out an everything, but the costly thing are the heads. You can get the intake for $80 on KarKraft.com. To switch to the 4V heads you need the heads, adapter plates to make your stock intake work, a new ecu, wire harness. It's a lot more trouble. Theres a guy on the other forums who did the 3V swap and he is pushing 350rwhp N/A with the heads and new cams.

For the money you'll are looking at, you might as well supercharge your 2v and make alot more power... unless your lookin for 700hp or something.
