quick question about h-pipe
i have an 02' gt that is basically stock. when i bought it, it had a cold air intake and i found a receipt for like 150 bucks that said flowmaster on it. im guessing he just put bigger tips on it but it still sounds decent.
real question. i want it louder but i truthfully dont have the money to do that much work on my car seeing as im a first year college student. can i just get a catted h pipe and it still make a noticeable difference in sound, and is it worth the money

RE: quick question about h-pipe
why not go O/R? They are pretty cheap compared to catted. I don't think on your car it would make a huge difference... IE going 4 cats to 2...
on my car, 6 cats to zero was an amazing difference....
Oh yeah upgrading your midpipe is totally worth the $$$

RE: quick question about h-pipe
if money is the deal breaker here you might as well go with a off road h or x pipe. Since its sound your looking for those would be the bigger noice makers anyway. Now you need to decide if you want raspy (xpipe) or a deep (hpipe) exhaust note.

RE: quick question about h-pipe
Check out some websites like 50resto.com and others you see all the time in mustang tuner mags. I think you could find a catted BBK h or x pipe for around 280 to 300. Maybe cheaper im not sure.
