spark plugs and wires do they...

RE: spark plugs and wires do they...
I've never heard the term "plug poppin", what does that mean? My car falls on its face when it's cold and I stomp into it. If I drive it until it warms up and stomp it it goes. It's almost like the fuel is drowning out the spark when the engine is cold or somethin. Ever had this problem or heard of anyone having it?

I hear alot of guys saying there plugs back out and pop off. Sometimes taking some threads with them.IE popin off. My car actually hits harder cold and i think its because of the cold air going in. Ive never had that problem.

I run factory motorcraft platinum plugs and motorcraft wires, and ironically, the engine runs like it should. I'm not changing plugs until I do major engine changes.
If you upgrade camshafts only on an N/A setup, should you change the plugs? Like say stage 1 cams...

no need to change for stage 1 n/a cams. and kudo's for using factory parts. I used to manage a HiLo Auto Supply back in 1492 before they were bought out by Oreilly's. I have found that most stock/semistock vehicles like stock parts when it comes to ignition stuff such as plugs and wires. GM likes AC Delco, Ford likes Motorcraft and Autolite, etc.

I figure if I haven't done anything to the engine itself yet, why would it need better parts? Thanks for the input. Someone once told me if the engine is stock, it will go to the junkyard with the same kind ofparts it came off the assembly line with...
God bless ya'll!
now back to school... haha
