Yea, I've changed a lot of these switches. There bad about goin out. Just pull the switch out, unplug it and look at the back of it. You'll know if it's burnt up.
You should have pulled the old switch first and looked at it. It would have been burt up on the back if it was the switch. Check your fuses and it that's not it check your headlight bulbs. If you change the bulbs again and that don't fix it replace the multi-function switch.
