Default 428CJ crate

Some random old guy walking his dogs in my neighborhood saw my car and was asking about it today, and was talking about his old Torino with a 428 cobra jet, and told me if I wanted old school big displacement I could drop a 428CJ crate in my 01 GT. Is that possible? Or conceivable? Or practical? Would it fit?

it's possible, it's concievable, it's in no way, shape, or form practical, and it would cost a buttload

Just buy a 1970 Mach 1, it'll look sexier too. I LOVE that car.
