how much power does the PI heads for a 96-98Gt give you. or is it just worth get a pair of patroit heads

For a quick response I'm pretty sure people have been getting 30-40 to the wheels from a PI swap.
Someone correct me if that is wrong. The PI swap on a 96-98 is WELL worth it though.

Only problem with PI swap is compression. You will have10:1.

After the PI swap, you should be running a higher octane gas. No more regualr gas. And the raise in compression is fine. [sm=nxsmile.gif]

have the heads port/polished and throw some stage 1 cams in there, and I've heard with a tune it'll upwards of 50-60 rwhp

Yeah this is definitley something to do. Then after the swap bolt ons will actually net you something. Get some aggresive cams, p and p'ed heads, a good tune. You can quit the hp gain.
