greasin' the TOB
my TOB started to rattle, squeak, make noisewhat ever u want to call it about 2 months ago. Just when I coast or am lightly on the throttle. I put it in brand new in october, got it with the king cobra clutch kit. Is there any way to grease it now at all. Can I remove the dust cover where the clutch cable is can i shoot some grease up on it with out getting it on the clutch material?

RE: greasin' the TOB
I have the same problem, I changed my clutch 10,000 miles ago because of my TOB and now the new one is squeaking again. I thought the same thing, that the clutch cable cover off and stick my hand in there and lube it up.... Nope I took it off and the clutch fork is right next to the bellhousing... The only way you could do it, if someone was in the car and put the clutch pedal to the floor which would move the clutch fork towards the front then I could see someone being able to stick there hand in there. But I am not about to stick my hand in there, that scares me.. If for some reason his foot slips, or something happens where the clutch is released, bam! your arm is deffinitly going to break!!

RE: greasin' the TOB
The trans tech at my job told me that I can spray grease on the TOB with the cover off to get rid of the squeek for a month or so. I haven't done it yet, but I am definetly going to do it soon.
