Default 17x9 and 17x10.5 tires, what do you have?

I am shopping for new tires front and rear. I would like to keep it somewhat cheap, I currently have Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3 tires 275/45 and 315/35 on 17x9 and 17x10.5" wheels. The tires I am looking for dont have to be the same size....

I have been looking into drag radials for the rear, and I found the Nitto 555R and the BFgoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 2. But I am hesitant on buying these for the rear because I bet the treadwear sucks... I got around 10,000miles if that out of my Goodyears and at $990 all four tires, I dont want to pay that again.

I saw these sumitomo tires for the rear 315/35's for $107 there very cheap anyone have any experience with these?

What kind of tread life are you guys getting out of yoru nitto's and BFgoodrich drag radials?

I have sumitomos on my stock rims right now. They are as good or better than the OEM Goodyear tires that came on the car. A lot of folks buy them for the price and are happy with them. However, they are not a track tire. Period. I think they actually grip better than the OEMs come to think of it.

sunmitomos are decent IMO especialy for the money ive had mine for about 8,000 miles and the wear is pretty mininal, in heavy rain prepare to die haha but like a steady rain and reg driving youll be fine

They look kinda cheezy though... They dont have a lip protector for the rims either... My Goodyears have saved one of my wheels once. I think I might go with drag radials... As long as I get atleast 10,000miles for the rear... And a set of something somewhat good for the front

I drove thru a torential rain a few weeks ago with water standing 1-2 inches on flat stretches of road and I had no issues. Yep, I slowed way the hell down, but no tire can handle that amount of water. I've had absolutely no problems with these tires and I'm way surprised by that. I really thought tires this cheap would suck badly, but so far, they have impressed me.
