Opinion for new tranny replaicment or a rebuild.
I can feel my tranny going out do to the previous owner ******* it. So have I a little bit, sense then. What do you expect? (Owned for 6 months) Gears are grinding pretty bad and second is popping out most ofthe time. I'm considering replacing my whole tranny insted of arebuild. I know i can't spend thousands of dollars. What would be a good, strong, reliable, and not so expensive tranny? Any info please help me out. Of course a rebuild isn't a bad idea.

Tk0 600 would be a good fit if you wanted something more durable than stock tranny. If you know what your doing and have the time to put the car down for the time it takes you to rebuild and swap you could do that and save a lot but no warranty. Now if you bought a used or refurbished one you would most likely geta warranty, if you had any problems. If it was me doing replacing mineI would get a brand new or slightly used tranny tko or t-56 because I know it will last but your also on a budget. What are you looking to spend?Thats just what I think. I like your stang btw. Dan
