I was wondering if anyone had ever supercharged and also run a small shot of nitrous on top of that to cool the supercharged air? I know it can be done, but has anyone seen it or done it? What problems did you run into? Did you have a forged motor or run it on a stock block? How big of a shot did you run?

I currently run nitrous but would love to be able to supercharge one day. I don't want to have to get rid of the nitrous so I was hoping to be able to run a small shot on top of a s/c. Is this wishful thinking or a possibility? Would I be better off throwing in a crate motor and hitting a 150-200 shot of nitrous with it?

Any ideas would be awesome.

Sure the nitrous may cool the air but once it is ignited your engine will run hotter. If you go FI+juice get a lower degree thermostat and an intercooler. Better to be safe than sorry

With my setup, a 50 shot would actually give me almost 150 rwhp.

Alot of Terminator owners run 50-75hp shots with their eatons and kb
I have a 75 shot ready to go with my 9psi eaton but its not together yet.

that is crap, don't go to that tuner anymore, as he doesn't know his ****. plenty of people run a small shot with a turbo or s/c.

i bought my supercharger used...but the guy i bought it from was actually jetting something crazy like a 100 shot through his intercooler with a T trim Vortech i believe. he of course had a totally forged engine. the guy had a TON of money in this car. he was actually running a regular NX shot and then NOS offered to sponsor him and gave him the nitrous for the intercooler for free or something. i forget the whole story...but his car was incredible. i forget what he said it dynoed at...i think he said something like 744 or 944 at the wheels. but 944 sounds a little astronomical...so maybe 744. im not sure. but thats neither here nor there. its totally possible to run it...i just wouldnt recommend it on a stock block lol.
