Default Power heads PI swap kits

Hi all,

On the power heads web site they have a stg2 ported head set and they are saying 110RWhp ! Is that BS, or do these heads put down 110hp to the wheels?

110 HP does sound a little generous, but not totally unrealistic if installed on a non-pi motor. A non pi motor does good to get 200 hp to the wheels and a pi motor with full bolt on's cams and port and polish comes close to 300 hp. I would think that 270-280 rwhp would be reasonable with that kit and no other supporting mods.

110HP not possible, it would be flowing way to much for a stock 4.6. Maybe heavily modified or FI. I put stage 2 patriot heads on my old car and got about 40rwhp and that's with all bolt on mods. even with the non pi comp increase, maybe 50wrhp or alittle more.

over on sn95 forums Dalamar has their ported headswap and cams package and i believe he did gain just over 100rwhp...he has a dyno graph posted or just ask him for it.

Hey,

Your right, I firgot Dalamar. I knew someone had them thats why I loked again. So lets say 100 hp, that would be 280rwhp. Could you get to 320 with full exhaust, TB/Plenum, CAI, Tune?
