since i cant get a super 40 kit.....would i benefit from just gettin super 40 mufflers and keep the stock catback?

FYI.....the American Thunder catback kit is now using the Super-40 mufflers. They switched to the Super's some time ago. I have the kit and they are indeed Super-40's, although they are not painted black like the individual mufflers. I think the Super's have the best overall sound of all the 40series.....and I've had them all[8D]

alrighty....tell me this though....right now i have an MRT offroad h pipe with Ravin muffler welded into the stock catback. would i notice any different power gains switching out the catback for the flowmaster one? or should i spend the $400 on something else?

You probably wouldn't notice much power-wise unless you have other mods, mainly sound. When you really start digging into the engine, modding it, you will notice the difference though.
