I have a 98 gt but my intake has the aluminum cross over in it, is there a specific thing i can look for to see for sure if it is the pi intake or not? thanks

i think only the newer pi intakes had the aluminum cross over so i'm guessing yours was already changed

Nope. Ford made maifolds with aluminum cross overs for the non PI cars. You can tell this way. On the non pi manifold the front intake runner is on the passenger side. On the pi manifolds the front intake runner is on the driver side. By front I mean closest to the front of the car. The pi manifold is also taller.

Also you can try looking in the valley between the cylinder heads. If you have a coolant hose running underneath the manifold from the water pump it's most likely a npi manifold. When I did the swap I had to run the coolant line on the side because the plenium is alot larger.(deeper)
