Haha, you southern ohio guys.... I'm from northeast pittsburgh and goto school in dayton so 40 min from you. You guys freak out when you get a couple inches of snow. We had an inch and they canceled the 2nd half of classes today. You get to miss all the lake effect snow.
We do! I don't know what the deal is with southern Ohio. We don't have speed demon drivers, we've got about the normal proportion of bad drivers - in fact I'd say there are generally GOOD drivers around here. But as soon as the white stuff shows up, everybody simply SHUTS DOWN. We had a mild dusting a month ago and every highway went to a standstill. It's 8:15 right now and some of our highways are STILL backed up.

I've driven a Mustang in every winter here and I still haven't had a weather-related wreck. Crazy people.

I do have leather seats, but I'm not driving it tomorrow if it's still bad. I'm taking the 4x4 Sportage. That thing is a piece but it's fun in the snow.

im right here in chicago.
when i was coming home from school there was about 4" on the ground.
i went 15mph all the way home. i think i learned a lesson after my accident. haha.
I live in East Central Illinois (near Champaign) and drive 30 minutes to school normally everyday. Today, when I left for class, the ground was clear, but when I went home, we had 6 inches of snow. It took me an hour and a half driving home because I totalled my 2000 GT about 3 weeks ago. I feel your pain.
