I wouldn't put them on my car, because that's just way too much money for me to spend on my doors[&:]...but if you think they are cool, then do what you want. Just find a decent kit, not the cheapest one out there.
Just please have some 'go' to back up all that 'show'

its alot to spend on doors i agree but im not gonna stick with the group on this one. Sure i saw a 97 sixer with lambos and a completley rice paint job and that was gay but ive seen some new edge mustangs that look badass with lambo doors. I say do it if you have the money and you have already made sure your cars not slow.

The other thing I don't like about Lambo doors is,,, they're now becoming fairly common. Hell there are several companies now selling the kits, when they were relatively rare they had more of a "wow factor".. not any more. That's part of the reason I hate +20" rims,, they're becoming too common, no longer unique.

Hey if you want to mod your doors & be different from the pack, convert them to suicide style (hinged at the rear)

I, too, would not consider Scissor Doors. However, if you're looking for good door modifications, consider:

Shaving the door handles
I have no experience with this, other than I know it looks badass. It makes the car look very clean and sleek. I don't know how much it costs, but I imagine that it's cheap.

Suicide Doors
This is doors that are hinged at the back, so they open the other way. I think this is very neat, plus it doesn't really change the functionality of the door too drastically. I've also seen a very cool show truck that had only the driver's side door as a suicide door. When both doors were opened, they opened in opposite directions, and it looked very cool.
