Default Tranny of choice

so my Vortech V2-SQ will be installed and tuned in march. now my tranny seems like its wantin to crap out on me. im plannin on doin a built shortblock, tranny, built rearend. now ive got my plans except for the tranny. i figure i should go ahead and do it in the near future. i looked into the tko 500 but everybody that i know that has one has complained of how it shifts. so what tranny should i go with. i need somethin that will handle 600+ and thats good for a DD. so help me out.

yea i dont know if the viper spec t56 would fit without major modifications...but i know they are rated for...well...enough power lol. thatd be a good way to go if possible.

do the tko 600s have the same supposed shifting issues that the 500s do?

a worked T-56 from t-56 rebuilds or a TKO 600. The TKO has a higher torque rating stock then t-56. it just depends how badly you want double overdrive
