Ok, originally i planned on getting forged 28 spline axles when i eventually get my car done,because i dont want to spend the extra money on a 31 spline diff., but ive realized that the broncos and f-150's that had 8.8 rears had 31 spline axles. Anyone ever tried using a 31 spline differential out of a bronco or f-150 in there stang? I dont see why it wouldnt work but i may be wrong. Would i be able to just take the 31 spline side gears and put them in my diff? Thanks for any help.
