As far as the shifter its easy as pie just make sure to but some rtv back on with it and set the bumpstops correctly shouldnt take you more than 30-45 mins, also you usually have to pry off the stock shifter because it is really on there.....goodluck

So was the install relatively easy for a mechanically declined person?
yes, just unbolt stock and rebolt mgw. easy, took me about a hour because i had to stop and jack the car up and drain the tranny fluid in the middle.
shewwww... I want a mgw...

The stop bolts are notneeded on the Tremec 3650 transmission, George at MGW sent me this when I specifically asked about them...[/align][/align]
I would NOT put them in.I have talked with Tremec in great detail about this and am convinced that they are correct. the tranny has beefy internal stops and does not require the external stops. We mainly put them in for shipping purposes only. We lock the center shaft down so that the shifter will not clang around in shipping. you must remove them prior to installation of the shifter.
[/align][/align]I used a couple of 3/8-16 x 1/4" button head cap screws to plug the holes.[/align]
