lowering the car does give u performance... not straight foward performance but it does give u performance in corning making ur center of gravity lower and making less body roll with stiffer coils. Its all in what ur into

i was lookin at some saleens and the suspension on them has to be right. those things sit nice to the ground. where would a suspension be found like that. or is it really expensive compared to others?

thanks jdaniel. now if i wanted to just lower it a an inch or to like yours, do i need new shocks and struts? also is steeda just as fine as saleens?

Nah... you wont need new shocks unless you go 2" or lower. Im assuming Saleen makes good products. Never heard one complaint out of them.

I personally think a Mustang looks great with a 1.5" to a 1.8" drop. Anything lower looks too ghetto for me. LOL

haha yea def. i was lookin at some saleens and they just look awesome sitting that low to the ground. especially with the ground kit they got on em. but for now im just tryin to get money together for the engine, not really for looks.
