Ok so I checked somthing today. Apparently the previous owner of my car has put gears in it. At 70 mph I am running 2,150 rpm's ( I used the digital tac that my car has) for more info on 99-04 models http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/dtcodes.htm

This whole time I been waiting to install my motive 3.90's and I have gears already go figure lol well time for an upgrade! heh.

Nice! Nothing like a free upgrade.

Of course, it could also be a dissapointment since you won't get the extra kick you wanted, since you already have it. Depends which way you look at it.

well yea according to a buddy of mine he said going from a 3.55 to a 3.90 it won't be a big difference but you will see the difference the more bolt'ons and stuffyou do should pick up a little more time in my 1/4 times once I upgrade my gears lol.

ehh 3.55 gears.. i'd do the swap and sell the 3.55's... lol
