Default 2002 Mustang GT

Hi again- deal on my '01 Bullitt fell through. Looking at a 1 owner Black '02 GT tomorrow. One owner car (52 yr old man), 15,000 orig miles, has Mach 1000 system and extended Ford warranty good until 2009 which is transferable.
Firm price is $14,500. How does this sound to you guys?
BTW, is it possible to replace the shifter know with the chrome ball that comes on the Bullitt? Thanks for the help from a former vette guy and a newbie!

Actually that sounds like a pretty descent price.

Yeah, the price sounds good especially with the extended warrany and Mach 1000 stereo system.

Most companies that carry aftermarket shifters will have the Bullit handle availiable. It's easily replaced.

watch out for the shifter **** on hot days

Sounds like a good deal to me too. Very similar to my car, 02 gt, mach 1000, 1 owner, 72 (or so they claim). And it's cheaper then what i paid.

First of all, what kind of condition is it in? Like new?
Convertable or Coupe?
Any work done to it, any accidents?
Good service records?
This guy seem like he would push it really hard?
All this stuff matters.

As far as the part about the bullitt goes, you can pretty much turn the car into one if you
buy the parts.
I think this is everything:
Suspension upgrade,
Air intake upgrade,
aluminum accents inside, shifter ****, pedal covers, bezels
odds are you already have bullitt wheels
badge on the back

The suspension and the intake upgrades will cost a couple hundred each but the interior stuff wont be too much

i did. it just screws on and is cheap from Ford (prolly about $60 or so). my sig says it's a Mach 1 shift ball, but they are exactly the same. i think when i ordered mine it was actually the bullitt one. parts guy said it was the same.
