do you know what you are talking about... he's asking about the typhoon intake.. not a damn tornado...two different things.
Many people say that the intake has bad castings and causes leaks.. No, you will not gain the 25-30 hp that they say.. And people are seeming to rave all about the new trickflow intake that is coming out.. I still want to see some numbers on a stock car..
For the most part the stock PI intake, as much as it sucks that it's plastic, does very well within the normal rev range of the stang..

oh so then i really shouldnt invest any money into the intake at the moment? is there anytime that it would be a good idea to upgrade the intake? Because im trying to figure out wat to get next for my car cause right now i have bbk longtubes, h-pipe, magna-flow cat backs, k&n ,and underdrive pulleys. so any suggestions on some performance upgrades?

Gears/nitrous/stickey tires..maybe start helping the car breathe a little bit more since you did all the exhuast mods.

First off, wow what a question. The stock intake only sucks for one reason, the thermostate housing cracks. I just got my new one with the aluminum cross over which should last long. As for the new Trickflow intake manifold, I won't have money for it after all I am doing now but I am still interested in seeing what it does.

Do you have the K/N filter or cold air? If you have the cold air then the next step i would suggest would to go with the bigger throttle body, upper plenum intake.that would help your cars exhaust breath. you really don't have a reason to do this with a bone stock car, but you will get better results from your lt's and back work you have already done. Another nice addition to go with that i am about to do is to go with the 90mm SCT MAF, you will never have to worry about upgrading MAFfor any mods in the future with this one.
