ebay PI intake kit

that is the livernois/detroit speedworx intake and adapter plate kit...it includes custom billit plates and a shaved PI intake...thats why its so expensive.

Why do they "shave" the intake? Is any of that worth having? I'm always on a budget.

Also what do you call the intake pipe that you need and where's a good place to find one?

they shave the intake because the adapter plates raise it up higher so they shave the intake to lower it enough to clear the stock hood.
