Default new clutch problem.... HELP!!!

I just had a new stage 3 clutch installed on my mustang after blowing my stock clutch plate racing (beating) a 95 Z28. They also installed a new fidanza aluminum flywheel and ford racing aluminum driveshaft. When I went and picked my car up and started driving it I noticed that the play in the clutch pedal was way off. It didnt start engaging till the pedal was almost all the way out and when it did engage it wasnt a smooth engagement what so ever, almost impossible to drive. Then on top of that the syncros in the 3rd and 4th gear went out, but thankfully that is still under factory warranty. This was done at a dealership. What can I do to adjust the travel on the clutch pedal????? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Tell them to drive it and then tell you that its normal. If its really effed up, just have them drive it to prove it.

they did drive it and the tech told me that it was normal.... but it doesnt feel normal. has anyone had a new performance clutch installed and had this problem. Do I need to break the clutch in more and wait to see if that fixes it or is there a way to actually adjust the hydraulic clutch system that my car comes with?

with your car off, put your car in first then instead of pushing in the clutch, pull out. youre supposed to do that when you install a new clutch. it should fix your problem... didnt know the mustang comes with hydrualic clutch? but if thats the case you cant adjust it..
