I am woking on a ram air set up from the headlight. I had an extra and cut a hole in it. The turn sigenls will still work so it can be driven during the day. it's not done yet but comming along real slow.

most likely if you made it functional it wouldnt ad two hp and it would be above 80mph. and at 80mph id be more worried the scoop would fly off than i am now. it would cause more junk, leaves, dirt and water to get into your engine bay if you just cut a hole to let the air cool your engine. and to make it acutaly functional you would have to custom fab some type of piping which isnt worth it. you would get as much or more hp by getting a K&N air filter and silencer delete.

So you recommend against putting ram air on the GT?

I have the March Ram Air system on my '03. There is a difference that is noticable, especially at higher speeds. The downside is that the scoop is under the bumper and picks up all kinds of debris from the road.

Mine is generally not sealed to the intake housing and basically blows air over the filter. It did give a slight increase in mileage as well...though I suspect some of my winter loss of mileage is due to the really cold air getting blown into the engine bay as well.

Steeda sells a kit for 800. I can get you a part # if you want to know.
That'd be great.
They do make it, but it is not worth it. I bought it for my previous mustang and did no performance what so ever....waste of money but if your just looking for a cool look, its sick
