Will my Mil Elimiators trick the emissions computer and give me a "pass" on the "smog check"? I live in Calif. and the cats and LT's are illegal. Thanks! I know there are lots of shops that like "BEN" too!

hey jc nice mach1...(have you dynoed it? been to the track?)

The Mil eliminators wont give you a "pass" on the smog check...only thing they would do is turn off your check engine light, but once you go for the emissions test, your readings will be wayy off...

better if you find someone that will write off the smog emissions test for you for some money...

I thought i'd just have to pay somebody off! Thanks for the input. Havent been on the dyno yet...just started adding mods recently! (the Mach turned 3 last month and I just made my last payment, mo' money for fun stuff now)!! Still really low miles and I plan on posting some decent #'s soon?!

seems like you already got a pretty good start on mods...

you should definitely take it to the track (you should be in high 12s, since I think the mach1 is already low 13s stock)..

btw i didnt know yellow mach1 existed haha

I know the LT's are an automatic failure no matter what in CA. Replacement mid-pipes are an auto failure too. (both for the visual inspection) The reason? The LT's move the cats, and the pre-cats are eliminated (This is the same reason for the replacement mids too) I have been very curious as to if a car would pass the sniffer test missing the pre-cats here in CA. I have posted this before, but has anybody here tried? (If not, does anybody know a place willing to pass someone for a few extra hundos? PM me if you know one in the Sacramento area)
