Can someone please help me with this. Whenever im driving down the street I hear this somewhat loud high pitched squealing sound that only goes away when i come to close to a stop. It doesnt change if I press the clutch in or not. WTF can this be?

sounds similar to brake squeal but it doesnt change if I put the brakes on or not. If im just accelerating it makes that sound

does it do this at low speeds like when your backing out of a parking space? it could be your ujoints going bad.

Have you touched any of your rotors, especially your rear ones?? I must warn you though, if a brake is dragging, then the rotor will be EXTREMELY hot..

You may have a sticky caliper that's just dragging a pad.. Since the caliper is stuck, it just continues, whether there's pressure or not..

slipping belt??? Does the noise change at all when you hit the gas?? If it does, thats your problem.

My clutch made a really high pitch sound before it went. It didn't feel like it was slipping or anything it just made a high pitch noise wether or not i was in nuetral or driving. Also yeah a sticky caliper makes the same noise. Just two possible senarios.
