Hey, as some of you may know, I am rebuilding my tranny right now to get my car up and running again. I just got a call from Hanlon Motorsports and he explained what he was doing. I do have a choice to make though. Should I upgrade to a 26 spline input shaft. He told me that sometimes if I have some DRs and a good clutch, they can break so he could upgrade me for $300. Then I would have no problem. The rest of the tranny is in GREAT shape!!!! He is rebuilding the rest. I dont know if I should do it or not.

My goal is 450rwhp w/ maybe a small shot of juice. It will see racing every weekend but hardly any track time. The money doesnt bother me because I already factored that into my budget. It is just that I would be looking at waiting another monthish vs. 2 more days to get the tranny back. I have been riding my bike for 5 monthes and have to have the car back together by May 10ish. I am craving to feel tq again.

btw, I think I decide to stay w/ the 10 spline. I dont plan on running slicks on my car at all.

I think I would just go ahead and upgrade it. One less thing you have to worry about breaking.

i would get a better tranny if i was you. I had my t45 rebuilt with all the so called good stuff and it broke a month later...
