Default linelock

Has anyone ever used a linelock? How good are they? Should I get one?
The reason I say this is because I'm having alot of trouble burning out at the track, my car just won't stay in one place.
Thanks

If you are on street tires drive around the water box. If you run slicks or drag radials go for it. I have a linelock kit and it's worth it but I go to the track every week.

What kind do you have? Where did you put the button that controls it?

I had this one on my 02 GT, I put the switch in the glove box to hide it.

glove box...seems a little far!
I plan on buying that same kit (SLP) because I heard it's the best for mustangs, but it's a real PITA to install.

ohh yeah I'll probably put the switch in the center consol so it's close to me but also hidden, or in the coinholder, not sure yet..but I've heard of people installing it as there "Off" button for cruise control, while still maintaining cruise functionality--I thought this was pretty cool but I don't have the knowledge or know-how to do it[]

To run the wires you're going to need some tiny hands/fingers, or else expect lots of little cuts and bruises! Also, your going to have to drain the master cylinder 1st then all the others in specific order...

Takes about 5 hours or so! And the mustang specific eliminates the traction control function so there is def. wiring involved
